Out-building (bunk house) demolition, removal + site leveling
Job description
Bunk-house (ex-railway hut) to be demolished and removed from site. Site to be levelled in preparation for a replacement building. Single story, 2.5m x 4m, wooden construction with weatherboard exterior and corrugated iron roof. No asbestos to our knowledge. Electricity connection (will be disconnected before demolition), but no plumbing. Foundations look like piles/posts, single concrete step at entrance. Building is in poor condition: roof has rusted through and partially collapsed ceiling + floor on one side, rot and/or borer in wooden posts. Pictures attached. Building is located between boundary fence and batch with approx. 1.5 m clearance on either side, however fully accessible from back of property. Dan's good value. Called to discuss job before sending quote. Came over before starting the job to disconnect power to building + go over the job. Arranged the time/day to suit our schedule. Showed up promptly when he said he would and stayed until the job was done -though it took nearly 10 hours, he could have come back and charged extra but didn't. Even took a couple of loads of green waste + rubbish we had from clearing the section to the tip. Buildings gone with no unexpected costs.
