Fix damaged optic fiber (re-splice)

A chorus fiber modem was slightly moved (within the same wall). Unfortunately, the optic fiber cable was over-bent and the modem doesn't see the optical connection any longer. I know I can log a request with Chorus... but I'd rather avoid doing so, knowing how slow and expensive they are.

Splice a Fibre Cable With LC Connectors

Need an OM3 multimode fibre cable spliced with LC connectors at each end, this is for an internal LAN between 2 patch panels. I have a media converter for one end that has a LC SFP receiver, on the other end is a switch with an LC SFP receiver in it so need to be able to plug the cable into these. Thanks

ONT relocation

I am doing some renovations, and have cut open the ceiling where my fibre cabling is coming through to connect to the ONT box. Now I want to close off the ceiling but I need to disconnect the ONT box cabling coming from the roof first before I can close off the ceiling and reconnect the cabling to the ONT box from the ceilling but drilling a small hole. Networking an office

Installation of cables from street to house

We need cabling for Telco systems to be brought from the street up the 200m driveway to our new house. Chorus will do the connection at the street but need the facilities to be installed up the drive. I believe its a 20mm lead-in pipe that needs installing. Will probably involve the digging of a trench too?

Defective Wall LAN port (New build)

Wall LAN port in upstairs master bedroom (connected to fibre/router in garage downstairs) seems to not be working, tried to connect ethernet cable from LAN port to laptop and no internet is received. The other LAN ports in the downstairs living room provide internet (tried with laptop via ethernet cable). Wanting to check if maybe the internet connection cabling is not correct, or the port/cable is defective.

Require an wired networking setup

URGENT HELP - Temporary Removal Fibre Cable

We are having a truck move a cabin onto our property tomorrow and need a low hanging fibre cable moved out of the way while the truck is here - approx 1-2 hours. I organised with Spark they said an electrician could do it but I am unable to find an electrician who is happy to do it for fear of breaking the fibre optics. Chorus can do, but will take 5-20days to book in. Please if anyone can help us tomorrow we would be so grateful.

Wiring TV relocated on wall

Have relocated our TV to be wall mounted. Have also installed a shelf unit to hold Sky, DVD and soundbar. Need to have wiring / aerial etc relocated behind the wall with associated new power points and brush plates installed. The wall unit is temporarily attached to wall held by 4 screws so is able to be detached from wall to assist with wire installation.
