Hi - I'm in a 1900 villa and have very heavy full length curtains. The runner is my son's room has been very difficult to open, it has a cord and he has now pulled down the actual rod as well. I've purchased new brackets for the rod but need help installing it and re-hanging the curtains (we made not need to have the cord). They are getting difficult to open too in one of the other rooms and I'm worried about again pulling the rod down. Would be great to get this sorted in the next week or so....
