Job description

Footpaths
Wellington

We currently have a concrete path that wraps around 3 sides of the house and extends to the footpath. The concrete was poured too high and is above floor level which is damaging the exterior cladding, it therefore needs to be removed & replaced at a lower level. We will remove the existing path ourselves and require someone to lay a new concrete path with channel drains. Notes: 1. Some existing older masonry drains have cracked and will need replaced. 2. The front of the house is a concrete slab which also needs to be removed, however as we want to replace this with a deck, this may not be done at the same time unless the builder can do the concrete path + decking and it fits into our budget. Two quotes for with and without the deck would be ideal. 3. Our neighbours house piles are technically in our yard and the concrete has been poured to the current path height and will therefore be higher than the new path. We'd therefore appreciate ideas on what could be done with the area. 4. We are looking for smooth, flat white/grey concrete. We do not want the stone look. 5. We do not know the state of the plumbing/pipes around the property so may need to take potential replacements into account. 6. A heatpump unit & shed can be seen in the attached photos. These will be removed.
