Paving and side gate

Hi I am looking at the following renovation work on my property: 1. Paving an area behind the house, which is currently just bark. The area is approx 23m2. This area also includes a retaining wall approx 4.3mx1m x 1m which ideally i would like removed but is optional depending on cost. I have a preference for the pavers to be used. 2. A side wooden gate approx 2m2 (1m wide x 2m height). Ideally this work can commence in October 2020 but can consider earlier. Acceptable quality overall though greater attention to detail re the side gate and pattern for the laying of paving stones was expected. Cost overrun unexpected due to imprecise quotation. Completed on time. Tradesperson not selected via Builderscrack.
