Re-enforcing concrete under patio slab

There is a tiled concrete patio slab outside the living area, 3 x 4 metres square. About 10 years old. Over this period there appears to have been some erosion/subsidence of land underneath the slab but difficult to tell how far underneath the erosion extends. It would seem like to rectify this would be to pump aggregate underneath ?
