Hello! I have a sloping section in Stanmore Bay. I need to create a driveway with 1 in 4.5 gradient. The problem is that the driveway will be about 1-2 meters above current ground profile and on a slope, plus a house will be built near the driveway. So I need to build a 30 meters of "suspended" driveway. Technical details: Width: 3 meters Thickiness: 250mm, 25MPa reinforced concrete 13mm Column spacing: two columns every 3 meters Reinforcing: 20 lineal meter per m2 of driveway + approx 35m lineal meters per column Columns: 300mm reinforced concrete, 4000mm deep into the ground and around 2000mm - 50mm out of the ground (average = 1000mm out of the ground). Total 20 columns of average 5 meters length for the whole job (7m3 of concrete for columns). Total driveway: area = 3 * 30 = 90 sqm, concrete = 23m3 Total concrete: 30 cubic meters, which is around 11k Total reinforcing: 2,500 lineal meters of 10mm reinforcing steel, around 5000 Overall materials: around 20k Overall labour: ???
