Barn Floor Concreting

We have a 96 m2 barn that we would like to concrete. The barn was built in the 70's and it a half round, econo-barn design. It has a soil and gravel floor at the moment. We would like to have the floor reinforced so the concrete cracking is minimised, but it is NOT part of a building consent. An old tractor and 4x4 will be kept in there with hay, mower and occasionally horses in bad weather.
