Mowing Strip-remove shoddy broken concrete and create proper mowing strip

Had mowing strip done Feb 2019 (by a BC contractor) which now looks like a broken roller coaster. I need the broken concrete removed and a PROPER mowing strip created. It is a total of 25 metres, running along 2 fencelines. Attached are photos to give you an indication. The concrete is approx 1.5 cm thick and a lot is already broken up so I expect it will be easy to remove.
