Concrete pad for a spa pool

Job image

Job description

General Concreting
North Shore

G'day concrete contractors We've bought a spa pool, being delivered sometime next month, that needs a concrete pad to sit on. I designed a thing, dug out a chunk of my lawn, put in some posts for a little deck/step thing on one side where the spa pool will sit and built the timber forms required for my design. Then I did some googling about how much concrete I'd need to fill the hole in the ground I'd made and realized there was no way my computer noodle arms would mix that much in a wheelbarrow so need someone like you to place some concrete for us. The job to supply and place a concrete pad 2200mm x 2200mm by 150mm deep along with suitable reinforcing steel/mesh. Yep, I've dug the hole probably way too deep, but over engineering something is usually always better than under engineering something. Am I right? I've included a photo, with a banana for scale. Although I suspect the above measurements might be more useful Thanks for your time thinking about our conrete job.

Norm was in touch very quickly to scope our job and then came up with a price that we were very happy with and that we think was fair. Given my inability to produce that much concrete on my own we were happy to pay that price. He arrived when he said he would, was a very friendly bugger and did the job exactly as he said he would. We can't really ask more for that. If we need more concrete supplied and placed, we'd have no hesitation calling Norm again.
