I have a length of 1940's concrete pathway to be broken up and removed. The pathway is in a straight line in two widths - 5m x 500mm wide and then 3m x 400mm wide - see the images. I started at one join and took out half a metre as you can see but realized it's beyond me with a 10lb hammer and, as there's a glass conservatory adjacent, it probably needs an electric jackhammer to break up the lumps safely and easily. There were no reinforcing rods or bars in the section I removed - just old brick and tile in the base. The site has easy level access from a concrete driveway - you could back a ute or trailer up to the closest end of the path to be removed. Can you quote separately for a concrete cutting across the existing path 500mm wide in case we are unable to cut this beforehand using a concrete cutting wheel on a grinder or saw? As we are needing this cleared asap to complete a landscaping project, it would be ideal if it could be completed in the week after Easter Monday.
