There is a spillover concrete mixed with rocks on one side of the studio. This needs to be cut as close as possible to the block wall to the de --- per design drawing. Then a concrete base for water tanks needs to be made in that space, leaving at least 15cm depth to top of the concrete slab to comply with the building code, as I am converting this space into a dwelling. The thickness of the concrete base for the tanks is recommended to be 100mm with SE62 ductile mesh reinforcement. On one side of the studio there is a block wall - it needs to be cut from the corner of the studio to the first metal post supporting the carport, and the concrete ramp on the side of the studio needs to be cut/broken up, so that I also get access to the concrete slab on that side of the studio that will be re-clad. Since the work is being done very close to the studio, any digging/cutting/breaking of the concrete will likely have to be done manually rather than with a digger.
