Job description

New Cladding
Wellington

1) The back of my garage had a frame installed before I purchased it, but the exterior was just untreated particle board. I would like to put cladding on the outside and make it water-tight to the garage. Need advice as to whether the particle board needs to be replaced or not. I was hoping to use either horizontal timber or a hardie-like product (whatever is cheaper) to look similar to the cladding on the house. I can paint it. Size is 300x192 cm with a 122x90 cm window. 2) The door frame and door to the garage is has rotted and barely functions. Would like the whole thing replaced. Might require a bit of concrete skim repair around the outside. I would be wonderful if a small awning was attached over the door because currently water running off the patio runs down, and over the door (and currently into the garage). An awning would make the door last longer. Existing door frame is 79x190cm. 3) I have several original ('60's) hardwood weather boards at the base of the house, that need to be replaced due to rot, including also the flashing between the cladding to the concrete patio to prevent this from happening in the future. Need it to match existing cladding dimensions. Again, I can paint when finished. What is exposed is 105 mm tall, so they're maybe 140mm wide. Not sure.

Great work on door frame fabrication, custom resizing of an old existing door, and finding creative solutions for reusing old hardware. Also fixed rotten weatherboard. Would hire again.
