Simple cladding repair - upstairs only: - Repair cracks - about five small ones (Might need to rake it to remove my temporary silica repairs) - Waterproof the crack (e.g. with “Hytech” or similar silicone based sealants) - Finish repair to make it consistent textured finish (e.g. with flexible epoxy grout to make it look seamless with existing wall) - Paint same colour as existing wall (e.g. Dulux elastomeric 201 paint). If the repairs go well, this might lead to more work - including complete repaint of the cladding. [The 20 year old house is brick cladding with second floor monoclad with some sort of polystyrene layer (may be EIFS) and plaster and texture paint on top. Please see attached photo of the worst of the hair line cracks above the front door - there are five cracks and one hole to fill - all currently sealed with silica]. P.S. Have a mobile 6 meter scaffolding on site if needed.
