New Cladding

The top panels of the original cladding of this relatively new built house have slowly separated and created a gap. The product is the light weight panels from NZ Bricks Designer Series. The original builder did not believe it's a problem and refused to correct the work. Now will need to go through insurance to fix this. Any help and opinion are much appreciated.
