Our mid-1970's house is clad in a 'timber-like' horizontal cladding (we understand it's not Hardyplank, but don't know the name of the original product). There are: 1) a couple of damaged (soft but not damp) very bottom slats immediately above ground level on our eastern-side, plus 2) one section of cladding which is now damaged and weather-tight compromised on the house's north side, part-way up a wall. We have painted the house twice since moving in and the more serious cladding damage on the northern wall cladding slat has occurred more recently, since the last paint-job (five years' ago.) We are looking for a builder/trades-person who understands and has experience in working with and replacing this house cladding. Thank you.
