Cladding fixed
Job description
In September 2016 I purchased a coupon from TreatMe for Old School Builders (Christchurch) Ltd - Travis Jansen and Leroy Brown and I paid upfront for material. However they have disappeared with the job only partly done and very poorly done. Apart from not finishing the work, they broke the fascia board when taking out the cladding and they have not resealed properly around the windows or finished the beading. I have some of the materials still at my place. They tried to use cladding that had stamped on the back that it was seconds and not compliant for E3 (or something like that); I did get them to go back and get the proper Shadowclad (which wasn't my first choice, but they said Hardies no longer made what I wanted as it was only for EQC.) I also paid for insulation, but they never turned up with any, so just put back in blackened Pink Batts that was in some areas of my wall then they took Batts out of my ceiling and said they would replace it... needless to say they haven't. This has gone on for so long now; I have tried and tried and tried to get them to communicate with me, but they are ignoring calls, texts and emails. So I'm seeking help, from hopefully a reputable or trustworthy builder, to finish this off - please.

Once communication started it was timely and clear. The boys that came out, listened to me, and although I'm not an expert, to me it looks like they did a good job especially as they had to fix and finish the mess left by a previous builder. They also cleaned up very nicely after the work - much appreciated.
