Carpet laying - small bedroom
Job description
We need carpet laying in a small bedroom with a concrete floor. We have done all the work on the room ourselves which has taken us years but we feel the carpet laying onto concrete may require a professional. I am keen to get this done asap as we need this bedroom to be able to move a child out of our bedroom. However we kind of need a quote to know how much we have to save up for. We might need a couple of weeks to get there. We have purchased an off-cut of carpet but we have no underlay. I don't know if we need underlay or even if we can fit it in as it has to meet a tiled area at the entrance and I don't know if there's room so advice on that would be helpful too. I will post a photo of the entrance etc. Also the floor is a little uneven you will see in the photos there is a buildup of glue and some kind of maybe cork tile or something else over the concrete. I don't know if this needs to be removed or if it can be done overtop.
