patch carpet in wardrobe doorway

hi - I have opened up a wardrobe & would like the carpet patched over the new wider opening - I have existing matching spare carpet & underlay available. The opening is approx 1.7m wide, and the area to be patched is approx 10cm wide. I would like underlay running up to the floor packer on both sides of packer & carpet over the lot - photo attached. Location is Porirua East, near motorway.
