Carpet ramping

Looking for a tradie that is confident with ramping up an entrance way into a newly renovated bathroom. This is upstairs and because we have tiled the existing carpet is lower then the finished floor tiles. Tiler says we just need to ramp it under the carpet to met the floor level and then we will avoid stubbing our toes etc
