Fix Lounge Carpet

have recently demoed a wall between lounge & dining room. Both carpets the same. Have left over carpet (underlay, will need to be supplied 10mm) which was installed 18 months ago remove the smooth edge & either insert a strip (30cm wide) across the room (4.5m) or uplift the lounge, shift down, insert the strip near the wall.
