Flooring repair - water damage

I’ve recently discovered soft parts to the flooring underneath Lino in the kitchen/laundry. I suspect there’s a leak somewhere and some flooring needing repair. I am planning to replace the lino with vinyl planks (Harrison’s), but need to get these patches sorted first.
