Connor discussed the process and cost clearly. He noted that rotting was worsened by boards being on dirt and proposed putting in a small pile to raise the new decking, plus digging out the offending dirt. Neither of the other applicants did this. Completed in the proposed time frame, put dirt onto garden without damaging plants, cleaned up completely. All communication was clear. Conner was my cheapest quote by far and I didn't choose him because of this; rather his consideration of the job
