Achilles Deck

Preparation for a house sale. I am told the deck is fibre-cement panels. It runs the length of the front of the house. A pre house inspection indicates "Reasonable condition - some cracking noted - Remedial action is to improve the under support. Sound with no movement but relying on nails. Needs joist hangers and/or extra coach screws. Additional connections recommended. The boundary joist has slipped and requires re-fixing and additional support. Also, some cracks need to be sealed and painted over. The whole deck will be painted following the renovations. Handrails may have to be raised with a simple height extension. Note that a separate job is listed as Achilles External Stairs for the same house.
