Enlarge fridge cavity

I have recently moved into a house with a fairly low fridge cavity. It's hard to find a decent fridge that will fit the height (1660mm). I'd like to raise the height of the cavity to at least 1740mm to fit a new fridge into. The cavity roof and frame appears to be painted wood. Above the cavity are some shelves and doors (see photos) which ideally I'd keep intact. The lower frame around the doors begins at a height of 1740mm. This is not an urgent job but I would like it done in the next few weeks.
