Replacing Deck Supports/Piles
Job description
The supports/piles for our deck are rotting at ground level. We would like to have all three of them replaced. Current supports/piles are concreted in approx. 200mm below ground level. The underneath of the deck is approx. 2m above ground level. The deck will obviously need proper temporary support whilst this work is carried out. Given the importance of the piles to the structural integrity of the deck, our preference would be for a qualified builder to complete this job. Please refer to the photos for the scope of the job.

All in all Ravi was a nightmare to deal with. He didn’t turn up multiple times when he said he would, there was poor workman’s ship (two posts needed replacing after being installed, in which I had to source myself and dig the holes for!!), he used concrete I had bought myself separately for a different project and I have serious doubts the posts were installed 600mm deep as required in the building code (even after it was discussed they would be). I would not recommend him to anyone.
