1. Weatherboard repairs and 2. bathroom, laundry renovation
Job description
Our two storey weatherboard house in Upper Hutt requires roughy 60% of weatherboards replacing on one side of the house - the weather facing side. The weatherboards are starting to rot. The side of the house is actaully looking a bit patch work as previous owners have done repair work. At least one window needs replacing -as it is warbed a little. You will need scaffolding as the some rotten weatherboards are up on the 2nd level. The weatherboard is rough sawn. We have some spare pieces in storage but want to talk about whether to repair batches or cost up doing whole side. We will be painting the house and roof at the same time - so would want to try and time the scaffolding in same time frame. This work may lead onto a renovation inside the house - we are wanting to renovate a bathroom area. I don't know if any photo's will be useful but happy to take some if this helps. recognise working on this in winter probably a bit limited as we want to work in with painting. But at least can come and have a look and start planning in how to do it all.
