34sqm Deck Framing
Job description
1. Prepare under-deck area. 2. Build deck framing: piles, support beams and joists. I will finish the deck planking myself. The deck will be in an L-shaped area around house, on level ground with approximately 33.5 sqm total area. The clearance to the ground is about 25cm. More detailed dimensions in plan view are in one of the attached photos. The framing should be sized appropriately for 140mm x 19mm planks, which I will be using when finishing the job. There are some drainage pipes buried underground, which may intersect with the deck area. I can do some digging to find out exactly where they are and mark them. There is easy access to the site with a vehicle and trailer. The ideal timeframe for this job would be anytime from now to the end of February 2022.

Scott did a great job with the deck framing, finishing everything on time and with excellent attention to detail. He was also open to a slight change in plan, installing a weedmat under the deck, and factored the additional work in without problems. I also learned some good advice from him, and enjoyed his company while he was here.
