The back door has a large gap that lets rain in at the bottom whenever the easterly is blowing. I have a door sweep but it is not effective. I’d like a solution that keeps the rain out - Eg I’ve seen weather strips that require the door be taken off. But I’m open to options and advice. If possible I would also like advice on draught stopping a window that has a strong draught - I tried to use a strip but couldn’t close the window. (The window is sticky anyway). I wonder if it needs shaving down a little? Looking for an effective solution to this as well if possible.

John did neat and tidy work, gave helpful suggestions for how to tackle the problem and was very easy to deal with. Very pleased with the end result.
