French doors and covered deck

We would like to convert an existing window into French doors, and build a covered deck out from the doors, with steps down to our garden. It is a single storey house, and a flat garden with drive-on access. The photos show the double window on the left that we’d like to convert to doors. The deck would run along the brick wall and under the heat pump unit, stepping down at the chimney. The other attached photo shows an example of a deck using similar materials/style we are thinking (clearlite panels for roof, and step and decking style). We are hoping to get this done before October.
