Basic low deck
Job description
7.2m x 1.7 m (28cm ish high) deck wanted for back of older wooden house. Had a veranda roof added in 2017 with the intention of doing deck under it (but sadly my dad and his friend were doing it and dad has since passed away). So there are already macarocarpa uprights for the veranda roof set into concrete for the outer edge. Nothing fancy needed and it is dry and north facing, but keen to discuss options for what will weather well close to the sea.

Victor did a great job of the deck, gave good advice during the quoting process on different decking timber options, and got it all done in the time he said it would take. He ensured it was solidly built and didn't skip extra fastenings and footings, and made sure the framing was super solid. The nails are in meticulously straight lines and all the edges are well done and super tidy compared to other decks! I'm more than happy with the deck, thanks Victor.
