Building a better Deck

I currently have a very small deck and would like a bigger more functional deck that has better use of my outdoor space ( I would like to be able to fit a couch and a bbq). I am thinking a deck that goes from my back door all the way across to the fence but am open to other solutions. for the space. You can see that there is a gate in the photos that still needs to have access as this is a cross lease property so would still need to allow neighbours to walk through even though they don't do this. The gate opens towards the neighbours unit. At the moment the space is not being used at its greatest potential. There is an old school washing line which is great but I am also open to this going if a better idea comes about. So it would be great to get someone to come look at the space and provide a quote and a great deck idea!
