Pergola , moving fence and other odd jobs
Job description
We are looking to get quotes for a few jobs on our property with the view to start some soon (depending on cost). Some of the jobs include: - building an ‘L’ shaped pergola attached to house and over a deck. This would be the 20sqm size which does not require permits. - moving a small section of fence and a gate which run along the width of our driveway. We want to move it about 4m down the driveway so that we have more paved area in the back garden. All timber is reusable. Just the posts would need to be moved. - remove an internal alcove which was once a porch doorway. - reroof front porch area and change iron supports to be wooden ones in keeping with the bungalow. Add railings too. - change a lounge window into bifold doors onto deck, and the current French doors into another bifold. There are a couple of other things we would like to talk through the logistics of as well. It is likely we would do these jobs one at a time and then save for the next, so would be looking for broken down quotes as well as an idea of savings if we did them at the same time. None of the jobs we are contemplating require permits.
