Repair deck to patch hole where a dead pear tree had been built around

Moved into a new house. Previous owners had a deck built, and built it around a pear tree. The pear tree died, so I had it cut out last week. I now need the two holes remedied, they are about 30/50cmx30/50cm each. so underneath needs some bracing (?) then new decking put on top. you can see in the picture where the section of decking needs to be fixed.
