Peary road, floor and ceiling repairs

Hi, We had a leak in the bathroom (which has been fixed), but there are two holes which need to be patched up: 1) Approx 50cm by 15 cm hole in our ceiling. Needs to be patched, plastered and painted as close as possible to the rest of the ceiling. 2) Rotten particle board in floor in the floor behind the shower. About 50cm wide and 20 cm deep. It's under the carpet and the wall. I'm thinking some tanalised plywood will do here, but needs the old stuff to be cut out and is partially under the wall Ideally both jobs can be done by the same person. Cheers, Craig
