Widening wardrobe doors

We have two wardrobes in a home we have just purchased that have small single doors in them. We want to open up the door frame wider to install new sliding doors for the maximum width possible to allow better access into the wardrobes. Wardrobe 1 is 1606mm wide inside and Wardrobe 2 is 1359mm wide inside, both standard 2.4m stud height. The current doors are 710mm wide.
