Help with wardrobes - replacing doors & improving storage

We are in New Lynn, and would like to replace the double doors on a couple of wardrobes with sliding doors. I'm also keen to replace the inbuilt storage as it isn't working very well for us. Our master bedroom currently has a double wardrobe with two sets of normal doors (see pic attached). Inside the wardrobe goes all the way across. I was wondering if it was possible to replace these doors with one large set of sliders to make better use of the space. The total length is around 2.5m. The other wardrobe will be for a nursery, and currently has two normal doors - width 1.3m. Also keen to replace this with a slider and improve the internal storage. This wardrobe has a heating duct in so it would be good to build something around that if possible. See photos of existing wardrobes attached
