Shelving install in large Laundry Cupboard

Have a large cupboard which needs shelving to make it more useful. Dimensions: 55cm Deep. 210cm Wide. 250cm High. I'd be keen to have just basic shelves installed at say 40cm gaps.. but also perhaps at one end have some wine cubby holes so that this can lay horizontally instead of standing in boxes on the floor? I'm open to ideas to be honest. I've been waiting for my husband to do this for 3 years.. still waiting... I don't want to spend the earth nor does it have to be full cabinetry like in a pantry. I just want shelves. No massive hurry either.. this side of Christmas would be good.
