Custom Velvet Sofa Covers - 1.5 and 3 seater sofas

Job Opportunity – We’re on the hunt for a talented upholsterer or experienced seamstress with a flair for furniture and a love of clever, practical design. We have two uniquely shaped Ecosa sofas – a 1.5-seater and a 3-seater fold-out bed – that need custom-made removable velvet covers. When we bought these, we didn’t factor in our diabolical cats, who are currently doing a stellar job of shredding the existing fabric. In contrast, our velvet sofa has remained pristine – hence the plan to switch both over to velvet. What we’re after: • Removable, custom-made velvet covers that fit snugly over each sofa. • Covers must be washable and easy to remove, especially for the 3-seater which folds out into a bed and needs flexibility. • Experience working with unusual or modern sofa shapes is a big plus. • We’re based in Rolleston, so someone local or happy to travel would be ideal. You’re welcome to visit and take your own measurements to ensure the perfect fit, though we can also provide links to the sofas online which include full dimensions and product images. That said, we think in-person measurements would likely be more accurate in the long run. We’d love to hear from creative professionals who are passionate about high-quality work and up for helping us save our furniture from feline destruction (while keeping it looking fabulous in the process).
