In Need of a New Bench top and Sink

Our current bench collects water which leaks through the sink seal into the cabinets below and the top is very outdated, though they tell me retro is in again.. just not here thanks :) It does appear to be screwed to the cabinets. We are after a new Laminate Bench-top with a Dark Marble look that has a light streak through it, also a stainless steel sink with a Drainer such as the picture included from Bunnings of the Focus Slim Kitchen Sink 1 bowl 1 drainer which is designed for 500mm wide Benchtops. The dimensions of our current bench-top are 1945mm length x 500 mm Width x 30 mm thick (side with sink insert). Shorter side is 1000mm in length (from the join to the end) 500mm Width and 30mm thick (Total length on that side from edge to edge is 1500mm). Just looking at quotes to see if changing the top and sink are worthwhile. Thanks.
