We would like to replace our benchtop so that we can add a breakfast bar. Measurements of existing bench: L: 3600mm x W: 700mm x D: 14mm and breakfast bar would be L: 1805mm extending 300mm. Open to discussion on benchtop materials but probably some sort of stone like caesarstone. Would also like the open shelving that you can see in the photos under the bench converted to drawers or cupboards to look tidier. Additionally, depending on cost, we are interested in cabinetry to replace the free-standing cupboards next to the fire (and where the fire is, because the fire is moving). That space for cabinetry would be --- approx. It would have to match existing cabinets (example attached).
