Built-in wardrobes

We have two alcoves on either side of a fireplace that are deep enough to be wardrobes. They are roughly 1.6m in length each and 50cm deep. We'd like the height of the wardrobes to be about 2m-2.2m. Just aiming for simple classic wardrobes: shelves on one side, hanging rail for the remaining space and doors. We have some of the materials already - including several meters of framing timber and some tools. We had planned on doing this ourselves, but we just don't have the time and would really like these done before Christmas if possible.
