Cut Cabinet to fit Fridge

Our fridge is bit bigger in size (just the height of the fridge ) to fit in the fridge space in the kitchen. There is a cabinet which is the issue . We would like to cut the base of the cabinet . OR may be take out the cabinet , reduce the cabinet size and put it back again. Its a small cabinet with 2 floors . Thanks
