Making a kitchen cupboard smaller to accommodate a tall fridge.
Job description
I have a small recess in which my fridge is supposed to reside, and that recess has a cupboard over it. However, it's way too short to fit a modern fridge. It's only 160cm tall but needs to be more like 180cm. I would like a quote to lift the 'ceiling' on that recess by making the cupboard smaller - or even removing the cupboard, happy to discuss the best option to make it work.

Excellent work done, communications very clear except for one point on pricing. Verbally, I was told $800 + GST, but was sent a quote for more than expected. When I called, I got his wife, who said 'He's written $850, so that's what I've quoted, plus GST'. That's too small a thing to fight over, but it stuck with me. Otherwise, I was very happy with the work - he did excellent work and worked very tidily - he cleaned up his sawdust and left my kitchen clean of debris or any work tools.
