Kitchen cabinet repair

I need to repair some kitchen cabinetry around a new appliance install. The cutting out of my bench top caused the front stone panel to break. This is not fixable so instead I want to install black wooden cabinetry panels under the cooktop and over the front of the gap between cooktop and oven. This is an urgent job as I can't use the cooktop until it has a panel across the front supporting it.
