I have a beautifull old kitchen, rimu and oak. I want to replace some drawers and cabinets, and also do some remedial work on the wooden bench-top while preserving the look. It will take some craft I think. The taps sit on the wood and are staining it, so I'm hoping to install a drop sink with the taps on the sink. This would mean I think cutting around the old sink to remove. I'm thinking that the drawers on the left and half the 'green pot cupboard' in the photo would be replaced by a similar cupboard door under the stink, while the drawers on the right (and the other half of the green pot cupboard) would be replace by four larger drawers. I'd like to try to match the wood if possible.
