New dormer window (or skylights)

We want to put in a new dormer window on our second story bedroom. 1990s extension of a 1960s house. Diagrams attached. Want to get an idea of how much the job is likely to cost before we start the building permit process (which we are happy to manage ourselves). Alternatively, if the cost of the dormer window is beyond our budget, we would be keen to install some large (1400 x 800) Velux roof windows/skylights ( --- ) within the existing structure of the roof, so interested in the cost of doing that as well.
