Entrance way for front door

We are wanting to create a covered entrance way at our front door. Approx 3m by 1m concrete base and the framing on top of that. We can arrange the concrete base and the wood if this will save us money (we have some left over iron for the roof). I have attached photos of what it looks like, and something similar to what we are after.
