Remediation work - Repair/Replace Bearer
Job description
I have a deck that needs to be looked at quite urgently. We have discovered that part of the bearer that attaches to the house has some rot as it was not constructed correctly. We need someone to come and check out the work . We have need an expert that can tell us - can it be repaired or does it need to be replaced, or indeed removed entirely? Our house is a typical Welly hills home, built on stilts, thus the deck is about 30feet up in the air! This is the sort of work we would normally do ourselves if it was at ground level, but with the height this is definitely beyond our remit. Really hoping someone help us please - soon! We would like to get the work done as soon as possible.

Sam came straight away when contacted and gave a thorough explanation of the work likely to be involved and some of the predicted issues that they may uncover. His quote was more than initially first thought but was realistic regarding the work involved ( scaffolding , materials , labour etc. The standard of work was both professional and timely given that it was an outdoor job and the weather was continually wet, and the continued communication regarding work and progress was excellent.
