Job description

General Building
Wellington

Kia ora! I'm looking for some quotes for a job that involves three parts: CLOSET At the moment, the closet is in a weird space that takes up a lot of room and doesn't add much to the room. I'd like to find out the feasibility of removing it completely and putting in a built-in wardrobe on the other side of the room. This wardrobe will be a cupboard style one - no room for a walk-in! OFFICE UNDER THE STAIRS Due to a bunch of things, I need to create an office space under the stairs of my home. In an ideal world, I want to be able to close it off when I'm not working using bifold doors or something similar. I think I want something built in and I've got some sketches of how I think it could work but open to suggestions and ideas as well! In the ultimate ideal world, this will seamlessly flow into the stair rails that I need to create to make sure my son doesn't fall through the gap. He's smart.... but he's 3. BATHROOM Finally, the bathroom is a pretty small space that just needs some love. This is mainly a cosmetic upgrade, so could include changing the vanity, retiling, changing the toilet, relaying vinyl flooring, and painting. I really don't want to move any plumbing around and I'd rather not go through any council-approval processes. TIMELINE I mean... soon?! I know y'all are super busy so happy to work with what works for you. I'm more interested in finding the right person for the job, and someone who can make this process as easy as humanly possible for me. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS - I can move out of the property for a short time but would prefer to stay in the house as much as possible. - I want to be as hands-off as possible, cuz I'm pretty busy with life but am usually available to help with decision making etc. - I have a 3-year-old who will mostly be at daycare or his dad's but if he's around, and you're around, he will be desperate to "help". - I get keys to the house on the 1 February with a move-in date of 11 February. - I have a budget, and that's available almost immediately for at least a deposit/ordering the fittings etc. - I have a pretty strong vision for how I want things to look in the house and happy to work with you and your suppliers to make that a reality.
